Background
The East African Regional Institute of Legal and Policy Studies (EARLPS) was established in 2009 as a beacon of excellence within the East African region and economic bloc.
Functioning as a social enterprise, EARLPS is dedicated to fostering regional knowledge growth, economic opportunities, and inclusivity. Aligned with the EAC Common Market Protocol, EARLPS positions itself as a leading provider of accurate regional data and advisory services, contributing to the seamless integration of the East African Community. One of the core strategic areas of focus within EARLPS is the program on Deepening Democracy and Human Rights.
